We consider Oakland residents and business owners as "shareholders" of this municipal corporation--our city government. Like any shareholder, you are entitled to know how your taxpayer dollars are spent.This annual report summarizes the financial results of the Office of the City Attorney, outlines claims and litigation trends and highlights our ongoing community-impact initiatives during fiscal year 2006-07 (July 1, 2006 - June 30, 2007).

Management Audit Report

Risk Management Services (RMS) was contracted to perform a management audit of the current operational practices of the Oakland City Attorney’s Office as it relates to civil litigation and claims handling. Interim Report on Payouts from the Public Liability Fund

This interim Litigation Report was prepared in response to a request by the City Council for information concerning litigation trends and payouts in Fiscal Year 2000-2001. The Report provides statistical information pertaining to claims and litigation in which the City was a party in Fiscal Year 2000-2001 and provides information concerning the two-year Public Liability Fund Budget for Fiscal Years 1999-2000 and 2000-2001.
