Risk Management Services (RMS) was contracted to perform a management
audit of the current operational practices of the Oakland City Attorney’s
Office as it relates to civil litigation and claims handling. The audit
also focused on current organizational structure, support staff and physical

Mayor and the City Manager with statistical and management information
pertaining to claims and litigation to which the City was party in fiscal
year 1999-2000. It was presented at the City Council's September 28,3000
