Amira has more than 20 years of experience serving issuers on debt capital raises including general obligation bonds, enterprise revenue bonds and other general fund financings. Since 2010 Amira has been a solo practitioner serving municipalities and nonprofit organizations throughout California and across the country on issuances totaling in excess of $15 billion over the last 5 years.
Amira’s legal career began as an associate attorney at Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe in San Francisco. Amira is a graduate of Stanford University’s law school and holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Yale University.
