Cara Reichard is an attorney in the Neighborhood Law Corps, part of the City Attorney’s Affirmative Litigation, Innovation & Enforcement Division.
The Neighborhood Law Corps is an award-winning program that focuses on difficult issues facing neighborhoods, including human trafficking, substandard housing, and public safety.
Prior to joining the Neighborhood Law Corps, Cara was a staff attorney in the Housing Unit of the Legal Aid Society in New York City, where she represented low-income tenants in housing court proceedings.
Cara earned her B.A. in Political Science from Stanford University and her J.D. from Yale Law School. During law school, Cara interned for the Bronx Defenders and the California Governor’s Office, she was a clinical student in the Community and Economic Development Clinic and the New Haven Legal Assistance Reentry Clinic, and she co-founded the Youth Homelessness Project. She also served as an editor for the Yale Law Journal.
