Judondi Bolden is a Deputy City Attorney with the General Public Safety and Code Enforcement Unit, a part of the Advisory Division of the City Attorney’s Office.
Prior to joining the Oakland City Attorney’s Office in 2022, Judondi practiced exclusively in the areas of Housing, Landlord/Tenant and Commercial Real Estate transactions and litigation as the principal attorney of her boutique firm. Founding her practice in 2004 with a specific emphasis on representing subsidized and institutional housing providers and developers, Judondi’s work focused on the preservation of affordable housing, developing housing policy and advancing housing equity. In addition to her practice, from 2018 to 2020 Judondi managed the roles of Supervising Attorney for both the nationally recognized Housing Negotiation Project of the Bar Association of San Francisco, as well as their Tenant Advocacy Project. During her tenure with BASF, Judondi also developed the Cannabis Housing Justice Program which trains volunteer attorneys to represent clients who are challenging denial of their housing applications due to cannabis–related criminal convictions.
A Bay Area native, Judondi earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from CSU– Hayward, and her J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law.
