Mark Forte is the Open Government and Legal Services Coordinator and in the Operations Division. He is responsible for contract administration, database maintenance, and is the administrator of the City’s portal for public records requests, Next Request. He supervises the reception desk, serves as the departments’ human resources liaison and prepares data related reports as requested by management.

Mr. Forte joined the City of Oakland in 2014 as an Administrative Analyst in the Office of the City Attorney. Prior to working for the City, Mark held private sector positions with AT&T as a media consultant, Kaiser Permanente as a benefits consultant, and began his career as an underwriter with World Savings & Loan. His diverse background has allowed him to grow as an administrative contributor in our Office.

Mr. Forte has a BA in Business Administration from Morehouse College.
