Montana Baker is a Deputy City Attorney in the General & Complex Civil Litigation Division. She represents the City in a wide variety of matters, including personal injury, property rights, employment, and civil rights actions.
Prior to joining the City Attorney’s office, Ms. Baker was an associate at Hersh & Hersh, APC, in San Francisco, representing clients in complex litigation, personal injury, and employment matters. Ms. Baker also served as a Graduate Fellow to the Appellate Division and Presiding Judge in San Francisco Superior Court and a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Laurel Beeler, Magistrate Judge of the United States District Court, Northern District of California.
Ms. Baker graduated from Golden Gate University, School of Law and earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of California, Davis. Ms. Baker is admitted to practice law in all courts of the State of California and the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
