Selia Warren is a Supervising Deputy City Attorney in the General Government & Finance Unit of the Advisory Division.
Ms. Warren also serves as Parliamentarian for the Police and Fire Retirement Systems Board and sits on the City of Oakland 457 Deferred Compensation Plan Board. Ms. Warren spent her first seven years with the Office as a Law & Motion Attorney in the Litigation Division where she handled administrative writs, appeals, restraining orders and various law and motion matters for the Litigation team. Ms. Warren sits on the Law Clerk and Fellows Recruiting Committee for the Office and is an executive officer in the Deputy City Attorney Chapter of IFPTE Local 21.
Ms. Warren graduated from University of Michigan Law School where she was a member of the Michigan Law Review, and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley. Ms. Warren is admitted to practice law in all courts of the State of California, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Central, Eastern and Southern Districts, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
