Tarisha Bal is a Deputy City Attorney in the Land Use & Planning Unit of the Advisory Division.
Prior to joining the office, Tarisha was a Deputy County Counsel with the Office of the Marin County Counsel, where she advised and represented the County on a variety of municipal concerns, primarily involving housing, land use, planning, real property, and environmental matters. The matters often involved affordable housing policies and development, real property acquisitions, environmental compliance and protection, development code and plan amendments, public contracting, and land use regulations. Additionally, she represented the County in contested matters pertaining to both land use litigation and CEQA compliance.
Tarisha graduated from University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English, and received her law degree from Santa Clara University, School of Law.
